County Officials Leverage Talitrix’s Innovative GPS Wristband Technology in Case Management
Alpharetta, GA … Talitrix, the leader in independent GPS wristband monitoring technology, today shared details of the company’s partnership with Paulding County, GA, the company’s first and longest client partnership. The collaboration has supported the County in reducing recidivism and protecting the public, while producing better outcomes for participants in the County’s pre-trial monitoring release program.
Talitrix provides full case management solutions to simplify custody monitoring, including the Talitrix band, app and Guardian solutions, and is the exclusive provider of wristband GPS monitors to Paulding County. The partnership launched in October 2021 and became the first jurisdiction in Georgia to leverage the innovative Talitrix technology, which includes the first-to-market wearable tamper-proof bands with real-time tracking and biometric data capture.
"Paulding County has seen tremendous growth since 2000, and as the population increases, so does the need for technology to enhance case management services,” stated District Attorney Matthew Rollins. “The County’s partnership with Talitrix has allowed them to stay ahead of the curve and make better case management decisions that protect the public."
“Talitrix began with our core mission at the forefront of our efforts - to leverage technology to reduce recidivism and protect the public, all while producing better outcomes than standard ankle monitors” stated Justin Hawkins, Chief Executive Officer of Talitrix. “We are thankful for the leadership of Paulding County, District Attorney Matthew Rollins, Judge Martin Valbuna and Judge Lisa Batey, their staff, criminal defense lawyers, and so many others for sharing that vision.”
The Talitrix wristband provides reliable real-time tracking without the negative perceptions associated with traditional ankle monitors. The band provides independent tracking/reporting 1:1 without the need for a phone or base station, two-way redundant GPS & GSM monitoring, geo-fencing to protect victims and monitor curfew violations, heart rate monitoring and photo check in on demand, and a battery life that lasts up to 4 days (depending on activities).
